库蠓见于北纬70 °～72 °及南纬度地区，我国属全国性。全球已知蠓类5 360种，其中库蠓1 224～1 530种、细蠓133种、铗蠓属蠛蠓亚属124种、澳蠓1种（Boorman and Hagen，1996。我国重要的吸血蠓是台湾铗蠓Forcipomyia（Lasiohelea）taiwana（异名：台湾蠓Ceratopogon taiwana、台湾蠛蠓Lasiohelea taiwana、南方蠛蠓Lasiohelea notia lis）。同体库蠓Culicoides homotomus。许氏库蠓C ......
